Breakfast/lunch: picture not shown
I didn't take a picture of my brunch. I had some nice food at home that my grandmother cooked. One thing that really stuck with me was the fried taro slices. Mmmmmm, it was so simple, yet so delicious and fattening.

Molten Lava Cake?
I believe I went to a Japanese restaurant of shorts near 大坪林 Dapinglin. I didn't pay much attention, as I was traveling with my mom to find her friend. The coffee and cake was delicious. There are a lot of cafes near 台大. Once school starts and once I stop going on so many field trips, I'll have lots of time to get fat off of cake and coffee. Oh dear. :)
Dinner...somewhere in Da'an

Chicken...Terikyaki?
I'm not sure what I had for dinner. I ordered curry, but I guess they were out. So, I volunteered for this mysterious chicken dish which I can only suppose is chicken teriyaki. It was tasty and tender, and I loved the rice. The chicken did have kind of a strange flavor, but not in a spoiled way. Just in a different way. The dessert of green tea pudding (which is more like a jelly and less like the American pudding I grew up with) was a nice tasty finish to my meal.

Revisit! Already?
I was out with a group of 12 friends composed of international and local students. Following our dinner at the Japanese restaurant above, we went to Ice Monster! Haha. Each of us split one between two people, costing each of us $100NT. I really like the white dou hua block which add some neutrality which countered the sweetness and warmth and counter the icy coldness! However, I think the red bean flavored mountain from the other day was more interesting and tasty. Also, I saw some people getting a boba variety....It looked delicious. Another day, another day. Perhaps next week yet again!
